Auction is for one tube (1 pcs) rare ECC88 6DJ8 Telefunken made in Berlin tube plant in West Germany.

B9206606 codes, made back in 1966. These are real diamond bottoms, thick getter, genuine Telefunken, low noise and balanced sections, very strong one.

They are early version with angled getter arm! Why this is so important?!?

It's possible to fake Tele's diamond in glass stem on computer laser machines in small batches, and many sellers do that for last 10 years. Almost all fake Telefunken ECC88 / 6DJ8 / E88CC / 6922 are various Tesla/ Tungsram / EI PCC88 and PCC189. All of these widely available types have similar plate structure like Telefunken's and the same dual stage getter, but with straight getter arm, not angled!

These tubes have very sensitive printing and it's extremely hard to preserve it if they are NOS, the prints are as shown in the photos.

They are tested on calibrated Tesla BM215M tester for plate current and tested for hum and noise in preamplifier.
