She is one of the most genuine, giving, honest people IÕve ever met who loves animals as much as I do and considers writing like breathing. So I dedicate this book to Kerry because of her accepting me for who I am, flaws and all, and seeing the real me on the inside, not the outside where makeup can cover scars.

Kerry has seen the worst of me, heard me cry and scream and pant in silence and isolate, but she always remained there in the background as one of my greatest cheerleaders and I love her in the short time weÕve known one another, which feels like forever. And it will always be forever in my heart.
