There is no doubt that Australian Reggae has come of age in the last ten years and Brisbane is alongside Melbourne as a centre of world class roots, dub and reggae music. Darky Roots have established themselves as one of the most sought after reggae acts in the country. Strong performances at the Island Vibe Festival, Kuranda Roots and Reggaetown, have led to invitations to play the Woodford Folk Festival, the Byron Reggae Festival and a New Year tour of NZ. With two EP's under their belt - 'Wrong Place' and 'Journey', Darky Roots have already had their music on three compilation albums - Island Vibe 4 & 5, and West End Carnivale 2. They are hugely popular on Brisbane's 4ZZZ FM and are regularly played on the Roots 'n' All Show on Triple J. Darky Roots are based in Brisbane yet all share Maori ancestry - which reflects in the bands tight kinship and distinctive Pacific sound. To listen to their music is to understand their rise in popularity. Their strength lies in their song-writing abilities and tight 4 part harmonies. A warm rhythm section and vibrant horns round out the sound to create some first class reggae. 'Journey', recorded and produced by Paulie B, is a generous 8 track EP featuring stand out tunes Only You, Positive Energy and Worth Fighting For. Best place for head

Do you love not getting sleep and sweating all over your pillow at night when you are asleep? If so then don't buy this pillow! If you want a good nights sleep and cool pillow like me this is the one. Ive always been ehh towards spending so much on a pillow but its 100% worth it, I sleep so much better and it forms to my head and keeps me cool at night. Great support even for my big head and comes with a bag of extra stuffing if you want to have a little more firmer pillow. Highly recommend

Oversized

I have chronic neck pain. I am forever buying new pillows. Sometimes I think I found the perfect pillow but then three months later they’re losing their loft. I thought I would give these pillows to try since the stuffing is removable. Now these pillows are really oversized. To the point where I thought that they had sent me king-size pillows but I double checked the packaging and they were Queen. I ended up having to buy king-size pillowcases for them because they just barely fit in the queen size and the pillowcases would always end up pulling back from the edge. So that’s a negative one star there. Now I’ve been sleeping on these pillows for a while and they have held up well. I did end up removing some of the stuffing because it was just too much. I’m a side sleeper and when I use this pillow, it does a good job of keeping my neck in alignment. However, the pillow tends to migrate up as I sleep. Or I tend to slip down off the pillow, either or. So that’s why I’ve removed a second star. Maybe if I removed more stuffing that wouldn’t happen, but then I feel like the loft would be too little. I will say that these provide great support when sitting up in bed reading or watching TV. So would I buy them again? Probably not. Am I going to keep using them? Yes

Comfortable and stays cool

Great pillow. When i opened it, i noticed a strange smell, i assumed its the smell of whatever they use to make the pillow stay cool. You have to fluff it for a good amount of time to make sure the cooling agent spreads well in the foam. Is what i assumed atleast. Its a perfect amount of softness for me. Pair it with some bamboo pillow cases and you got a good night of sleep

I’m very happy with this pillow. The size is big and it feels soft while still providing good support, perfect for midnight scrolling on TikTok.
One thing to keep in mind is that it can feel a little too tall if you use all of the filling that comes with it. The good news is that you can easily adjust the amount of filling to find the height that works best for your sleeping position. Once I customized it, it was much more comfortable.
Overall, great quality, comfortable, and worth the purchase.
