Light the way for your backyard birds to nighttime feeding with this Woodlink Modern Farmhouse Solar Lantern Tube Feeder. This matte-black tube feeder resembles a lantern with its gridded cage, enclosing within it a clear seed tube which can be filled with light when immersed in darkness. The feeder is powered by the 1.5" square solar panel on top of the 8.5" diameter lid, accompanied by a rubber-sealed ON/OFF switch, as well as an included rechargeable AAA battery. A black, metal hanger extends nearly 6" from the lantern's two-tiered, sloping top for easy hanging, while the top itself rests snugly on the feeder's metal frame. As the metal cage flares out to a 6" diameter at its bottom, the clear, plastic 2.5" diameter seed tube in the center holds up to 0.7 quarts of seed and contains four ports for birds to access while perching on the cage's hardy metal wire. The two-tiered, 5" diameter base completes the lantern design while concealing beneath it a stem and thumb screw for mounting onto a 1" outer diameter pole. Whether day or night, the seed is easily discoverable due to its clear tube and solar-powered light emanating from within. Covers well. I love the color. I bought the medium and tan to cover all seasons. I will mix them as needed. It is sticky all day but it looks great so I'll deal with the sticky! I've tried sooo many tinted high SPF moisturizers and I've finally found one that really looks good.

I recently switched to this mineral sunscreen after having irritation and redness from several chemical sunscreens, and it has made a big difference for me. My skin is sensitive, but this one feels gentle and comfortable without causing burning or itching. It gives me good protection and doesn’t leave my skin feeling worse by the end of the day. Definitely a better option for sensitive skin.

I’ve tried a lot of skin tints and this one actually surprised me. The Colorescience Flex Shield gives that “your skin but healthier” look without feeling heavy or greasy. I love that it starts white and adjusts to your skin tone — it blends in really naturally and evens everything out without looking makeup-y.
The finish is glowy but still skin-like, and knowing I’m getting SPF protection at the same time makes it perfect for everyday wear. On busy days this has honestly replaced my foundation.

The best sunscreen I've tried

Both of my parents and both of my maternal grandparents have had skin cancer at least once, so sunscreen is an absolute must for me. I also have sensory processing issues and can't stand sunscreens that smell artificial and/or leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy. Finally, my skin is super sensitive, so I need a sunscreen that I can apply daily without causing a reaction.
I've tried literally hundreds of different sunscreens at all different price points, but because of my rigid list of requirements, I've usually ended up spending a fortune on sensitive-skin-formulated face moisturizers with SPF and using them on all my exposed skin in place of normal sunscreen, because they've been the only options I've found that check every box.
Enter Hawaiian Tropic sport sunscreen. Sure, it doesn't absorb into my skin quite as thoroughly as my favorite SPF moisturizer, but it's also less than 1/6th the price for 8x the quantity. It also has a nice scent that doesn't give me a headache (no overtly chemical smell), only barely leaves my skin feeling greasy, and doesn't cause any irritation with daily application.
It's the only "normal" (non-moisturizer) sunscreen I can stand to wear. I literally have one bottle in my car, a second in my purse, and a third in my medicine cabinet at all times.

My top choice for outdoor sun protection

This sunscreen is so important to use for exposed skin sun protection. Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen ( 50 SPF ) is, in my own personal opinion, the best on the market.
