Just one year after the 2014 release of the Brazilian Disco Boogie Sounds compilation (FVR 098CD/LP), Favorite Recordings presents the second volume of its acclaimed series. At the controls this time is French DJ and producer Charles Maurice (compiler of 2015's French Disco Boogie Sounds (FVR 101CD/LP)), digging again in his collection and travelling to Brazil for the occasion in order to find some local hidden treasures. The result comes as nine additional obscure hits from the Brazilian funk-boogie-disco scene of 1977 to 1984. At that time musicians and arrangers such as Lincoln Olivetti, Robson Jorge, and Oberdan Magalhães, along with Banda Black Rio, were responsible for the new music scene. They dominated the studios with sophisticated and original arrangements that have forever transformed Brazilian musical culture. This music, at that point, had gained a new style and great international respect that has remained ever since. Brazilian Disco Boogie Sounds Volume 2 pays tribute to this great era, with notes and original artworks. Includes tracks by Marcia Maria, Miss Lene, Brenda, Cristina Camargo, Lady Zu, Almir Ricardi, Rosana, Kaito, and Adriana.

Just a great monitor

What a difference. I purchased this screen to replace an older screen. I knew I would see some differences as the screen was a larger size. What I did not expect was the picture quality. It is exceptional. The colors appear to be accurate. Based on the build quality I expect it to be very durable. It has been very capable of running my games.

Didn’t power on, still waiting. . .

I received this brand new monitor. It would not power on Amazon did not have any more in stock so it was sent directly to the manufacturer for repair. They have had it for two weeks and are going to have it for another one to two weeks before shipping it back to me and hopefully I’ll actually get to try it out I really hope it’s worth it in the end! Seriously frustrating that a brand new monitor would not even turn on and it’s gonna be at least a month before I even get to try it.

Meh....
Style: 34" WQHD Curved 100Hz USB-C Docking
Milktoast stats--right down the [lower] middle of the line. 1ms reponse time, mediocre 100Hz max refresh, and NO FreeSync support. Hardly expensive, it still is quite a bit more than other monitors with MUCH better specs, but less brand name recognition. I think the only reason it is so expensive is the white treatment.
The VESA mount in the back did not fit my VESA plate. One side of the plate sat up on a small ridge of plastic. Not a showstopper, but hardly ideal--or necessary.
The bezel (or rather, the DEAD PANEL SPACE between the bezel and the displayable area of the panel) is HUGE. Like 1/4" on the sides, and 1/8" on the top/bottom. If you're going to make a thin bezel, then make an edge to edge display. Otherwise, just give me a frame so that my image displays edge to edge. To me, it looks like the old CRT monitors from the 90s... YECK!
