Name:Vanadium dioxide nanoparticles(VO2)

Product Overview

Vanadium dioxide is a deep blue crystal powder with a monoclinic crystal structure, which can be industrially produced by gas reduction of ammonium vanadate or vanadium pentoxide (V2O5). VO2 is a amphoteric compound that is slightly soluble in water and equally soluble in acidic or alkaline solutions; When dissolved in acidic solution, it generates divalent vanadium oxide ions (VO2+), which appear light blue; When dissolved in alkaline solution, it generates vanadate salts M2V4O9 or M2V2O5. VO2 is in a metastable state, where V4+is easily oxidized to V5+, exhibiting relatively weak antioxidant capacity. VO2 is a polycrystalline metal oxide with five main structures: VO2 (M), VO2 (R), VO2 (A), VO2 (B), and VO2 (C).

Product Features

Phase transition characteristics: Vanadium dioxide nanoparticles can achieve a reversible transition from insulating phase to metallic phase at a specific temperature (68 ¡ãC, accompanied by significant changes in conductivity and optical properties.

High specific surface area: Nanoscale vanadium dioxide particles have a larger specific surface area, which is beneficial for increasing their surface active sites and catalytic efficiency.

Strong chemical inertness: The surface of nano vanadium dioxide has a large number of active sites, but due to the small amount of surface vacancies, its chemical inertness is very strong, and its adsorption performance for various harmful gases is excellent.

Good stability: Nano vanadium dioxide has relatively high stability, thanks to its special structure of surface ion ripples, which enables it to maintain good performance in various environments.

High catalytic activity: Nanoscale vanadium dioxide particles have significantly improved catalytic activity due to their high specific surface area, making them suitable for various catalytic reactions.

Application Fields

Smart windows: By utilizing the phase transition properties of vanadium dioxide nanoparticles, smart windows can be prepared. At high temperatures, windows appear metallic, blocking heat transfer; At low temperatures, windows become transparent, allowing light to pass through. This smart window can automatically adjust its transparency according to changes in ambient temperature, improving energy efficiency.

Photoelectric switch: Based on the phase transition characteristics of vanadium dioxide nanoparticles, high-speed photoelectric switches can be prepared. By controlling the temperature, switching between different phase states can be achieved, thereby regulating the transmission of photoelectric signals. This type of photoelectric switch has important applications in fields such as information processing and data storage.

Sensors: Various sensors can be prepared by utilizing the significant changes in electrical and optical properties of vanadium dioxide nanoparticles during phase transition. For example, using changes in conductivity to sense physical parameters such as temperature, humidity, and pressure; Utilizing changes in optical properties for optical sensing and spectral analysis.

Catalyst: Nano vanadium dioxide is widely used as a catalyst for various catalytic reactions due to its high catalytic activity and strong chemical inertness. For example, it can be seen in reactions such as nitration, ethane dehydrogenation, methane oxidation, and hydrogenation of formic acid.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
