Six Questions Your Country Inn & Suites Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this hotel franchise investment analysis using detailed research into the hospitality sector and midscale hotel operations. Key assumptions, including the $2.7 million year-one revenue and 5% royalty fees, are pre-populated with researched data and are fully editable to match your specific location and local demand.

What is the profitability trajectory?

The unit is projected to reach an EBITDA of $1.49 million in its first year, with net profit scaling as group bookings and transient stays mature. You will defintely see profitability improve as revenue grows from $2.7 million in year one to $4.78 million by year five.

Improve Profitability

  • Optimize breakfast ingredient costs
  • Target high-margin group contracts
  • Reduce OTA commission reliance
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required and how is it allocated?

Launching this unit requires a total initial investment of approximately $1.325 million, which includes $800,000 in capital expenditures and a $525,000 cash buffer. This hotel franchise operating expense breakdown ensures you have enough liquidity to handle the initial three-month ramp-up period.

Major Capital Uses

  • Leasehold Improvements: $300,000
  • Furniture and Equipment: $150,000
  • Kitchen Equipment: $100,000
  • Preopening Expenses: $75,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the return on investment?

Investors can expect an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 13.92% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 10.14%. While the initial outlay is significant, the franchise ROI calculation shows a steady climb in value, though full payback of the initial capital occurs after year five.

Investment Metrics

  • IRR: 13.92%
  • Return on Equity: 10.14%
  • Payback Period: 5+ Years
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

The unit hits its monthly break-even point in March 2026, just three months after opening. This quick transition is driven by strong transient room bookings and a lean initial staffing model, though high fixed costs like the $18,000 monthly rent remain the primary hurdle.

Faster Break-Even Levers

  • Increase average daily rate
  • Control housekeeping supply waste
  • Maximize loyalty program stays
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway and lowest cash point?

The lowest cash point occurs in March 2026 at $525,000, coinciding with the break-even month. Maintaining this minimum cash balance is critical to surviving the pre-opening phase and the first few months of guest acquisition before cash flow turns positive.

Protect Cash Flow

  • Phase furniture fixture installs
  • Negotiate utility deposit terms
  • Manage front desk staffing
[dynamic_pic13]

How do Low, Medium, and High scenarios change the outcome?

In the high-growth scenario, revenue scales toward $4.78 million by year five, significantly boosting the franchise unit profit and loss statement template results. The medium case assumes steady 10% growth, while the low case tests your ability to service debt if occupancy stays below 60%.

Improve High Case Odds

  • Execute local marketing events
  • Secure corporate event partnerships
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction

Simplicity
Color: Black/Orange
This watch was received exactly as advertised. First off the watch is economical compared to other watches that advertise the same details. I will say that I have gone through numerous Luminox watches only to be disappointed. This watch fits the bill. It does have solar cells which mean it needs to be exposed to light to keep running, not a problem. Three minutes under my surefire light I am golden. The bezel doesn't rotate actually no big deal for me. I have always required that the bezel moves not anymore after having a bezel that rotates I use it next to never. Here's why, the more I rotate the bezel the more the numbers wear off. The strap on the watch with the catches for the strap are perfect. They actually hold the watch strap in place in lieu of like other big name brands that just flop and slide. As far as everyday use goes this watch is my go to. To be honest I have purchased three. This is the only watch I will wear moving forward, yeah the glass my scratch but even the big names like the Luminox I spoke of earlier scratches too.

Real men wear pink!
Bought for hubby and he's happy! Not a bubblegum pink but a more subtle shade. Pale rose, kind of. Flattering fit, too.

True to size, and looks exactly as pictured
What you see is what you get. The picture is accurate, and the sizing is right. I ordered a size 3XL and it is accurately a size 3XL. The shirt material is a nice thickness without being see thru but also not being too thick. The pattern and color makes it forgiving on sweat when you do sweat. It is the wicking style of clothing. The collar is denser/thicker/reinforced more than many polo styled shirts so the color pops up more than thinner shirts. The stitching and material are quality too. The interior tag has a spare button and it says designed in Italy. The amazon page says it is made in China. I am actually kind of surprised at the price, and the fact that it is made in China. I held my breath a little and assumed it would be much lower quality. I was happy to find out that this is a nice, solid shirt. For gift giving purposes, I am giving this one star lower. For personal purposes, it is definitely 5 star. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the shirt comes in a sort of crappy clear box which is easily smashed in transit and quite frankly looks really cheap when you gift it, in my opinion. It says new on the sticker, made in china, but I would absolutely take it out of the box if you gift it. Also, there isn't a price tag or any kind of removable tag on the shirt at all. So, if I take it out of the box, and wrap it separately it doesn't have the ''hey, this is a new item tag.''

Comfortable and Stylish Polo Shirt for Any Occasion
I recently tried out the J.VER Men's Polo Shirt, and I’m really happy with the fit, feel, and overall look of the shirt. The fabric is a great combination of polyester and spandex, making it stretch just enough to feel comfortable while still offering a flattering fit. The material is lightweight yet durable, which makes it perfect for the warmer months. It’s breathable and quick-drying, so it keeps me cool even when I’m outdoors or active. Whether I’m out on the golf course or just relaxing, this polo feels great to wear. One of the things I like most about this shirt is how versatile it is. The classic design makes it suitable for both casual and more formal settings. I’ve worn it to a couple of casual business meetings, and it’s comfortable enough for a day of golf or a weekend outing. The collar is solid, with a nice touch of style thanks to the subtle pattern, and it holds its shape well after multiple washes. It’s not too stiff, so it feels natural around the neck, but it still maintains a neat, structured look. Another thing worth mentioning is the fit. The shirt fits true to size, and it has just the right amount of stretch. It’s not too tight or too loose, and the length is perfect for wearing tucked in or left out. I’ve tried other polos in the past that either feel too boxy or too clingy, but this one strikes a nice balance. It’s flattering without feeling restrictive. The side split design also adds to its comfort and flexibility, especially when I’m moving around or swinging a club. All in all, I’m very happy with this polo shirt. It’s stylish, comfortable, and functional. I appreciate the thoughtful design and quality of the material, which has held up well so far. This is a great addition to my wardrobe, and I can see myself wearing it for a variety of occasions. Whether you’re looking for a shirt for outdoor activities or something that works for both business and casual wear, this polo is a solid choice.

Fits nicely
I always prefer a dry fit shirt, because of the way it fits me, and falls on my frame. I find this shirt nicely tailored, and flattering for my body type. Just to give you a little perspective, I am 5 foot 11 and 195 lbs, with a muscular build. I chose the size large, and I find it fits me very well. I don't like shirts to look like they're painted on, and I want a little bit of looseness for comfort. I also like a shirt that is made from comfortable good breathing material, and this one checks all of those boxes. The large is not loose on me by any means, but it is a nice size for my frame. It's neither too loose, nor too tight, and straddles that Goldilocks sizing zone. The blue has a very nice look to it, with a little bit of black thread incorporated as well. So, it has this subtle two tone look to it throughout. The collar inlay has a different design pattern, which is also very nice. I could certainly see this shirt being a great golf shirt, and one that is flexible to accommodate my swing. All in all, I'm very happy with it, find it stylish, and would comfortably recommend it. The only thing I would mention, is that it did have a scent of what to me smelled like new car smell. It smells like that new fabric, when you sit in a car in the showroom. I suspect that'll go away with a wash or two, so it's not a big deal, neither is it off putting.
