BILLION DOLLAR BABIES: TRILLION DOLLAR DELUXE EDITION (2CD

“Hello Hooray,” a new version of BILLION DOLLAR BABIES, is on the way as Alice Cooper’s delightfully subversive sixth album returns in all its snakeskin glory for an extended 50th-anniversary celebration. After hitting #1 on the album charts in America and the U.K. in 1973, the record remains a highwater mark for the original lineup, featuring hits like “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and “Elected.”

BILLION DOLLAR BABIES: “TRILLION DOLLAR” DELUXE EDITION (2CD )features a newly remastered version of the original album, along with bonus material, including studio outtakes, single mixes, and an electrifying 1973 concert recording.

An instant smash when it was released in March 1973, BILLION DOLLAR BABIES delivered a theatrical mix of hard rock and glam laced with macabre lyrics that explored wealth, decadence, and fame’s darker side. Newly remastered, the platinum-certified album sounds better than ever. The set also features outtakes (“Coal Black Model T”), single mixes (“Mary Ann”), and “Slick Black Limousine,” which originally came out on flexi-disc within an issue of the British rock paper New Musical Express.

The “TRILLION DOLLAR” DELUXE EDITION also features a live show recorded in Texas in April of 1973, during the “Billion Dollar Babies” tour. The powerful performance includes live versions of many of the album’s tracks, highlights including “Elected” and “Hello Hooray,” along with several of the band’s earlier hits, including “I’m Eighteen” and “School’s Out.”

The LP and CD versions both come with an oral history of the album and the bonus tracks by the surviving band members – Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, and Neal Smith – and Bob Ezrin, who produced the album. (Sadly, guitarist Glen Buxton died in 1997)

In the notes, Cooper recalls writing “I Love The Dead” and “Sick Things.” He says, “We were writing those songs looking at each other, and every time we’d write a line I’d say, ‘Oh, this is gonna kill them. Oh, they’re gonna hate us on this one.’ But at the same time, it was almost like an Edgar Allan Poe short story when you listen to ‘I Love The Dead.’ I tried to write that the way Vincent Price would sing it.”

Comfortable Everyday Cotton Shorts
Size: XX-Large, Color: 2 Pack - Black
Soft fabric, good stretch, and a relaxed fit that lands at a perfect length, these shorts hit that sweet spot between lounge wear and quick‑errand gear. The waistband has enough give without feeling flimsy, the pockets are actually usable, and the overall feel stays comfortable through the day. For the price, they’re an easy pickup that delivers exactly what you want from simple cotton shorts.

Good for the price
Size: X-Large, Color: 2 Pack - Black
they're very good for the price. There's definitely alot of noticeable cost cutting (material feels kind of thin, and the inside of the shorts look "rough" and unfinished). But still they look good and are comfortable and light. Great for summer and will live up to their price. fits well.

They are comfortable!
Size: X-Large, Color: 2 Pack - Navy
I really like them. Pockets are very helpful and the size was right for me eventhough it was suggested a size bigger. Washed both already and noticed no shrinkage. Very comfortable and the length is just above the knees. Great for hanging about, in the gym or even a trip to the store.

BIG GIRLS LOVE 'EM TOO!
Size: 3X-Large, Color: 2 Pack - Black
I am a plus size gal. I was looking for some sleep shorts, but all the ones for us plus size gals were so short I may as well not have been wearing anything. I decided to look in men's shorts, and found these. They are nice and long, and the material is nice and soft. Also, unlike the women's shorts, the pockets in these are nice sized, big enough for my phone and then some. There's a drawstring, but the elastic in these is plenty to keep them up and riding at my waist, where they're supposed to be, without having to tie them. Typically I wear a 2X, but I purchased these in a 3X because I like a little more room in my PJ bottoms, and they fit great. The only thing I don't care for necessarily is that the elastic waistband is just a smidge scratchy, but after wearing them a while I found it didn't bother me. And the price is pretty good for two pairs - much cheaper than women's plus shorts. I liked them enough that I came back and bought 4 more pair!

Comfortable and stretchy shorts with pockets!
Size: XX-Large, Color: 2 Pack - Black, Size: XX-Large, Color: 2 Pack - Black
For the most part, I've exclusively worn pants/jeans/slacks since my teens, I'm pretty sure that I've worn a skirt or dress on only 2 occasions in my life, and the skirt part was ankle - floor length those 2 times... Just to paint a picture for anyone reading my review knows how serious I am about hiding my almost reflectively white legs. At least up until I moved from the West Coast all the way to Oklahoma. Not only did I realize that I've taken California/PNW weather for granted all these years, but I quickly learned that I would now be wearing shorts every chance I get in this heat. These shorts aren't made with a heavy type of fabric, they are stretchy and lightweight, and they even have pockets! My wardrobe color pallet is mostly just black or slightly different shades of black, so of course I got these shorts in black. Plus Fruit of the Loom has been a known name brand for as long as I can remember. These are a great value for the money, great quality so far, and the waist is easy/self-explanatory to adjust. I would like to point out that the tie string in the waist somehow got tangled with a stray string or tie string attached to something else in the same load of laundry I put the shorts in. I ended up having to cut off the part that was frayed from getting tangled, so I suggest that the tie around the waist of theses shorts should be knotted/tied together to hopefully avoid the tie string from fraying in the wash or something.
