How does Pivo track me?
With the Pivo app, the Pod tracks one selected subject at a time - your face, body, or pet - using image detection. Lock-On holds that chosen subject in frame even when other people enter the shot. It does not track several people at once.
Can I really film myself with no one holding the camera?
Yes. Set your phone on the Pod, choose a tracking mode in the app, and the base rotates to follow you hands-free - ideal for vlogs, workouts, tutorials, sports, dance and pet videos when you are filming alone.
Does it work with my phone?
The Pivo Pod Lite works with most iOS and Android phones that meet the app's minimum specs, and holds phones up to about 1 kg. It connects over Bluetooth 4.0 and runs with the free Pivo app.
How long does the battery last?
The Pod Lite has approximately 6 hours of battery life from its 500mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery and charges over USB.
How do I mount the Pod Lite?
Place it on any flat surface, or attach it to any tripod using the universal 1/4-inch thread - so you can shoot at desk height, eye level, or anywhere your tripod reaches.
What do I need for good tracking?
Keep your subject filling at least about 10% of the frame, film in decent lighting, and avoid extremely fast movement. Tracking quality also depends on your phone's camera.
