This painting inspired by Kama Sutra, an ancient Indian Sankrit text and expression on the art of eroticism in India. While traveling there, I was intrigued by the intricacies of sculptures that covered the outside/inside architecture, some dating back to the 1600's. These sexual figures would sometimes decorate the outside pillars of a fort (castle-like building) and resembled bodies dancing, entangled and intertwining with each other. There was a lot of movement within these ancient figures, expressing this lust for erotic love.
