This is a set of Hasport entry level Chromoly axles for B-series engine swaps in 88-91 Civic/CRX vehicles using a B-series SH3 intermediate shaft.
The SH3 half shaft is longer by approx. 1.5" inches, than the more common shorter SK7 half-shaft, both of which have a female type driver side end. The driver side axle shaft within this axle set compensates for the longer SH3 half-shaft by being a bit shorter, thus alleviating any binding. The binding from having too long of a driver side axle would translate into vehicle shaking/shuddering on upon acceleration.
Hasport's an all new entry level Chromoly axle's for 2013 are made from brand new parts and do not required a core like many other competitors do. These new axles are made from Chromoly steel for added strength over their previous entry level axles.
Entry Level axles are recommended for OE replacement and street use. Not recommended for race use.
Hasport offers a 12-month warranty on all entry level axles.
Higher horsepower staged axles are available.
