The XSH01X provides the performance of a corded saw without leaving the strongly-preferred 18-Volt platform. It's part of Makita's expanding 18-Volt LXT series, the world's largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion battery. The Makita 18-Volt LXT battery has the fastest charge time in its category, so it spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger. The Makita built motor delivers 4,800 RPM for fast cutting and ripping. In performance testing the XSH01X/Z made 250 cuts in 2x4 lumber per charge, which is up to 2.5 times more cuts per charge than the Makita 18-Volt Cordless 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw, model BSS611Z. With a 7-1/4 in. blade the XSH01X/Z has a cutting capacity of 2-5/8 in. at 90°. Won't last forever, but my dog loves it

My dog, a 90 lb black lab, LOVES these toys. He does prefer the raccoon to the giraffe, but he likes them both a lot. I originally got the raccoon on clearance at Target when looking for a long toy he could play with while he was in a cone recovering from surgery (he likes to be able to hold toys between his front paws and mouth/chew on them, so none of our regular squeaky footballs were long enough for that). He loved it so much I had to find more, so I found this giraffe from the same line of toys. He's a destroyer and he has been able to put a few holes in these toys if I'm not watching him, but they're pretty easy to sew if they need patching. My mother-in-law's dog came over and made a hole so big that the squeakers and lining all came out, but I sewed it back up and it's almost as good as new. They definitely won't last forever, but they have lasted longer than other soft toys we've had in the past.
