Stanley Kubrick: A BiographyFor decades, the films of Stanley Kubrick have staked out a claim at the core of the cultural landscape. For decades, the films of Stanley Kubrick have staked out a claim at the core of the cultural landscape. In the 1950s he was one of the few American filmmakers, with Paths of Glory, to achieve the gravitas of European cinema. To 1960s audiences he was the man who made Dr. Strangelove, the influential anti-war movie, and the counterculture favorite 2001: A Space Odyssey. In the 1970s he created his hymn to urban violence, A Clockwork Orange, and in the 1980s distilled the nature of private madness and collective insanity in The Shining and Full Metal Jacket.Yet little is still known of the man and the influence exerted by his private life on his public art. Born in the Bronx, Kubrick has lived since 1961 in seclusion in rural England. From in-depth interviews with a range of people who have known the man best, from his childhood to the present, John Baxter has extracted the most complete account available of Kubrick's life: the conflicts with partners and stars, the failure to make Napoleon, the failed marriages and broken friendships, the use and abuse of writers and other creative collaborators.Kubrick emerges from this detailed and complex telling as a man both sensitive and ruthless, petulant and generous: a man who adulates reason but whose films reflect the wildest excesses of passion and who, above all, has dared to live life on his terms, whatever the price.

98% cotton comfort
Color: Black, Size: Large
It's true to size. I have a 42" chest and typically wear a large. I ordered large and it fits. Grab these while you can as most of these mock neck t shirts are a cotton poly blend. These are 98% cotton. This is important because although the cotton/poly blends dry quicker, they are uncomfortably warm if it gets above 70 F. I have purchased other mock turtlenecks and had my local dry cleaners convert them from long sleeves to short, but they are slightly heavier weight than these. I do wish that they made these in a dark green or military green color.

100% SYNTHETIC CONSTRUCTION!!!
Color: All White, Size: XX-Large, Color: All White, Size: XX-Large
When I bought this shirt, the listing claimed it was 95% cotton and 5% spandex... the shirt that arrived was 51% polyester, 43% viscose and 6% spandex! I have been impressed by some of their other clothing, but this is the first time I was completely lied to and bamboozled. I probably wouldn't have noticed if the shirt wasn't so hot, shiny, and uncomfortable! I will absolutely be returning this shirt. Not even CLOSE to what I wanted. Quite, quite disappointed.

Love it
Color: Royal Blue Gold, Size: X-Large, Color: Royal Blue Gold, Size: X-Large
Light and fits perfectly. I bought this size1X for my 14 year old 6 ft3 225lb son. He has a bit of a belly and is kind of built like a football player. The pants don’t have pockets but they do have an elastic wast with a drawstring which makes a comfortable fit and no need for a belt. The length is perfect for his height and stops right at the ankles to accentuate the shoes. The top is also perfect for the length of his arms and torso. The sleeves stop a little below the wrist which is great for movement. The neckline is fitted and he can button it all the way up unlike other fancy shirts and without restrictions . The fabric is soft and the design on the front looks like a very good quality and is very secure. Over all I’d rate it a 5/5 for quality and fit. I recommend this to anyone big and tall.
