Jacob's Ladder: The History of the Human GenomeJacob's Ladder delivers a remarkably lucid explanation of what the sequencing of the human genome really tells us. Decoding the sequence, evolutionary biologist Henry Gee shows, is just the beginning: seeing the letters and words. The next frontier is in understanding snatches of conversation between genes how they interact to direct the growth of an organism. Gee takes us into the heart of that conversation, illuminating how genes govern a single egg
Jacob's Ladder delivers a remarkably lucid explanation of what the sequencing of the human genome really tells us. Decoding the sequence, evolutionary biologist Henry Gee shows, is just the beginning: seeing the letters and words. The next frontier is in understanding snatches of conversation between genes--how they interact to direct the growth of an organism. Gee takes us into the heart of that conversation, illuminating how genes govern a single egg cell's miraculous transformation into a human being, and how they continue to direct that person's day-by-day development throughout a lifetime.Gee tells the story of what we know about the genome today and what we are likely to discover tomorrow. As our knowledge advances, we will be able to direct with increasing authority the conversations between genes: not only performing medical interventions but also creating whole scripts directing birth, ancestry, and diversity in a brave new world.

Charming Earring Display
Style: TREE, Style: TREE
I’m using this wooden jewelry tree as a display for my fun earring collection, and I love how cute and creative it looks! It comes in three pieces and is easy to assemble, though I did need a hammer to tap the pieces flush. I wish the earring holes were spaced a bit farther apart in some areas, but overall, it’s a charming and functional stand. Makes a great gift for any jewelry lover!

Not worth the money
Style: TREE
This is certainly NOT worth the money. It arrived broken and not worth fixing. Don't waste your money.

Extremely well-made and solid, holds a lot!
Color: Xy010-bronze
This jewelry organizer is perfect for my needs and it’s really pretty. It has a solid base and feels substantial, especially for the price. I used it for necklaces at first but now I use it for rings because it’s easier to see them when they’re displayed on this tree. It holds a lot of rings and is great for quickly finding which ring(s) you want to wear for the day.

Cute!
Color: XY010-Silver, Color: XY010-Silver
This was exactly what I was looking for. Super functional and the little birds are so cute. Holds many necklaces and seems to be good quality so far. I received and returned several until I found this one - finally I can stop looking! It’s perfect.
