The Root Salve Wellness Radical Self-Care Journal is the passion project of Dr. Jalana Harris. Dr. Harris holds a Ph.D. in Social Welfare Policy and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training in trauma and third-wave therapeutic approaches that integrate mind, body, and spirit. Her approach to healing is integrative and nontraditional, as she prioritizes self-knowledge and critical consciousness to decolonize the therapeutic experience. As an abolitionist and Womanist, her clinical focus is resistance, liberation, and soul healing.Ê
