Have you ever wondered what the Old Testament--especially the Old Testament law--has to do with your Christian life? You are not alone. Some Christian leaders believe we should cast off the Old Testament now that we have the New. Carmen Joy Imes disagrees. In this warm, accessible volume, Imes takes readers back to Sinai, the ancient mountain where Israel met their God, and explains the meaning of events there. She argues that we've misunderstood the command about "taking the Lord's name in vain." Instead, Imes says that this command is about "bearing God's name," a theme that continues throughout the rest of Scripture. Readers will revisit the story of Israel as they trudge through the wilderness from a grueling past to a promising future. The story of Israel turns out to be our story too, and you'll discover why Sinai still matters as you follow Jesus today.Binding Type: Paperback

PERFECT RETRIEVING TOY
Style: EcoFetch
You can barely whip it and it sails far and fast. This is the perfect retrieving toy for my GSP. She's used to average and we now have a small yard, so the dog park is where she gets to run hard and fast. You can also throw tennis balls with it, which is a plus for when her sister steals her ball.
5 star fun!

Style: EcoFetch
This is perfect. Works great for a smaller yard and the ball holds up to puppy teeth!

Easy to use for this old folk!
Style: EcoFetch
If you have a hard time to bend down and throw, this is perfect! It allows you to pick up the ball with little bending over. It also gives much further distance to your throws. Great quality to both the ball and wand.

Great ball launcher and ball. My dog adores it and plays with the ball even when she isn’t fetching.
