This special issue of the Journal of Yoga Studies is an edited volume by Daniela Bevilacqua and Mark Singleton with peer-reviewed articlesÊfrom sixteen authors. The volume is the outcome of a workshop held at SOAS University of London in November 2019, under the auspices of the five-year, ERC-funded Hat_ha Yoga Project (HYP). The workshop aim was to answer several questions: considering the centuries-long presence of multiple embodied traditions in India, what was the relationship between the physical practices of yoga and other physical disciplines that bear certain similarities to yoga, at least in appearance? Had there been interchange or even influence across and between different physical disciplines and the practices of yoga? Could such a perspective on the history of yoga help to understand better any of its developments?

This volume demonstrates, at the very least, the ease with which certain body practices can be transferred from one context into anotherÑor, indeed, one region to anotherÑand assimilated as if they had always been there. In this respect, cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary historical studies of yoga, such as that under-taken in this volume, can bring to light more historical fluidity and mutability, both in practice and theory, than one might otherwise expect as scholars of a particular discipline (like yoga) and a particular geographical area (like South Asia).

Not for super chewers
Color: Hambone Super Chewer, Size: M/L
Had to take it away from my dog the same evening I gave it to him because a chunk came off. I did not want him to choke on the pieces.

A favorite for my boys!
Color: Hambone Super Chewer, Size: M/L
My dogs love this toy, it satisfied their need to rip up a toy and still allowed them to play long after the top layer was torn apart to enjoy! It bounces well and has still held up with my chewers, this is still one of my dogs favorite toys to play fetch with!

Great toy
Color: Hambone Super Chewer, Size: M/L
My dog loves this toy so much. He's not quite so aggressive with his chewing, now that he's getting older, but this toy lasted through his younger years, and recently started to show signs of wear. He was so sad when I threw it out, that I had to replace it. Glad it still exists - we got the first one probably 5 years ago.

Great for heavy chewers
Color: Hambone Super Chewer, Size: M/L
Our dog is a hard core chewer! This toy is very durable. Even the covering has lasted. We assumed we would need to take the cover off right away but it’s still going after 3 months. It’s definitely chew resistant

Great treat dispenser
Color: Hambone Super Chewer, Size: M/L
Great rubber toy, the outside fabric did not last long, so glad that it is a treat holder/dispenser otherwise it would have been done for in about 10min. The opening for the treats is pretty small so can only fight thinner broken up treats. Great for larger dog that likes to dissect her toys, keeping her entertained longer and no fluff all over the house
