Rhonda M. Roorda elaborates significantly on that finding, specifically studying the effects of the adoption of black and biracial children by white parents. She incorporates diverse perspectives on transracial adoption by concerned black Americans of various ages, including those who lived through Jim Crow and the Civil Rights era. All her interviewees have been involved either personally or professionally in the lives of transracial adoptees, and they offer strategies for navigating systemic racial inequalities while affirming the importance of black communities in the lives of transracial adoptive families. In Their Voices is for parents, child-welfare providers, social workers, psychologists, educators, therapists, and adoptees from all backgrounds who seek clarity about this phenomenon. The author examines how social attitudes and federal policies concerning transracial adoption have changed over the last several decades. She also includes suggestions on how to revise transracial adoption policy to better reflect the needs of transracial adoptive families. Perhaps most important, In Their Voices is packed with advice for parents who are invested in nurturing a positive self-image in their adopted children of color and the crucial perspectives those parents should consider when raising their children. Helps you get a good night's rest

These are my favorite pillows. I've had so much neck pain and headaches in the morning. This all stopped once I started using them. They hold up their shape and seem like they are good quality. My husband kept trying to steal my pillow, so I had to order him his own. You won't be disappointed in these pillows, and you'll get much better sleep.

pillow whore here 🤭 and I very rarely find anything worth writing a 5 star review for but let me just save you the time of searching anymore for the PERFECT pillow!!! BUY THEM! 😍 I promise you will NOT be disappointed!! I have spend thousands on pillows over the years, trying to find the perfect pillows... As someone who suffers from debilitating chronic pain and who has had multiple neck and back surgeries I'm very particular about pillows & have such a hard time finding one's that are comfortable, not too hard, not too soft but also offer great support. I FINALLY found them 🥹 and my hubby is Italian and stays hot but gets even hotter when he sleeps so finding an authentic cooling pillow has seemed impossible UNTIL now!! Just wow!! Loved the pillows

I don’t get paid for reviews so if you want a real one here ya go ….
These pillows are great in my opinion. They came vacuum sealed and popped right up “ big and fluffy” immediately, as in big enough I wasn’t sure they would fit in my pillow cases.
I used them last night and even though they are full, big and fluffy they still smashed down to a proper size when I laid my head down. First night in a long time I did wake up with a headache. I was extremely happy with these pillows.
Now cooling ….I didn’t really find a difference from a reg pillow but, that again just could be me. Hope this helps
