What’s inside the box: - Plastic sprues: one grey and one clear - New clear sprue with two canopy options: open and closed - Arma Hobby Jig for precise alignment and landing gear geometry - Cartograf decals for two marking options - Painting masks for canopy and wheels - Instruction manual - 3D-printable detail file Marking options: - Yak-1b, No. 4, 1st Squadron, Polish 1st Fighter Aviation Regiment “Warszawa”, pilot: W/O Edward Chromy, Zadybie Stare, Summer 1944 - Yak-1b, 31st Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment (31 GvIAP), pilot: Maj. Boris Nikolayevich Yeremin, 1943 (aircraft modified to carry an aerial reconnaissance camera) The Yak-1b was one of the most widely known Soviet fighter aircraft of World War II. During its production, the aircraft underwent continuous modifications and improvements. In June 1940, one of the production machines was rebuilt by lowering the rear fuselage and installing a teardrop canopy, which significantly improved pilot visibility. A retractable tail wheel was introduced, along with a new VISz-105 propeller and an oil cooler adopted from the Yak-3 fighter. The armament was also revised. Two 7.62 mm ShKAS machine guns were replaced with a single 12.7 mm UBS heavy machine gun, while the 20 mm ShVAK cannon remained unchanged. In July 1942, state trials of the modernized fighter were carried out, and the aircraft received the designation Yak-1b. In older literature this aircraft was sometimes referred to as the Yak-1M, which is inaccurate. That designation actually belonged to a prototype that later became the basis for the new Yak-3 fighter. Yak-1b fighters saw their first major combat during the battles of Stalingrad and Kursk in 1942–1943. At that time they were considered comparable to the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F and the British Spitfire Mk V fighters. Yak-1 and Yak-1b aircraft remained in combat service until the end of World War II. In addition to Soviet Air Force units, they were also operated by Allied formations, including the French “Normandie-Niémen” Regiment, the 1st Polish Fighter Regiment “Warsaw”, and three fighter regiments of the Yugoslav National Liberation Army Air Force.

Soothing sun protection
Size: 3-Pack (0.15 Ounce each)
Very soothing, great protection for your lips. It seems to stay put too, although I’ll reapply a few times during whatever activity I’m doing

Smooth with light white cast but not very strong SPF
Size: 2-Pack (0.15 Ounce each)
Works well, goes on smooth, not too much of a white cast. If you're sensitive to the sun, you may need a stronger mineral SPF that could result in a very white cast.

A little waxy and wears off quickly, but it helped my dry lips this winter.

Smooth and lasts long.
Size: 3-Pack (0.15 Ounce each)
This balm is awesome. Most other chapsticks make my lips worse.

The best lip sunscreen I've tried by FAR
Size: 2-Pack (0.15 Ounce each), Size: 2-Pack (0.15 Ounce each)
Background: I have VERY dry lips that sunburn, desiccate, and wrinkle easily (see before pic). I use prescription tretinoin so I'm skin sensitized and hyper conscious of sun exposure. I've tried lip sunscreens from what feels like every single brand, including EltaMD (3/5, looks ok, not moisturizing enough), Sun Bum (1/5, super drying, gross flavor, oily) Aquaphor (4/5, looks good, pretty moisturizing, my #2), Blistex (2/5, waxy, drying), and a million other random Amazon and gas station brands. First impression: I actually didn't read the ingredients list before purchasing since I was buying a bunch of new brands to try. But as soon as I put it on I was blown away at how immediately SOFT, hydrated, plumped, and moisturized my lips felt...and that is not something I ever say about my lips. Then I checked out the ingredients and it made sense. The top ingredient in the base is argan oil which is very emollient and moisturizing, then bisabolol which is a very soothing natural extract from chamomile, and this also has beeswax, sweet almond oil, shea butter and vitamin e for more moisture and antioxidant benefits. This is a really impressive formula from a $3 tube of sunscreen, let alone the fact it has SPF 30. There's a tiny amount of white cast if I look closely (from the zinc, see after pic) but it's not really noticeable and overall it looks really flattering on my lips (Fitzpatrick III, light-medium skin and medium pigmented lips). The alternative is a balm with chemical filters which (in my experience) all taste disgusting. If you have dark skin or very pigmented lips I would still give it a shot since it's pretty affordable and quite sheer, but you might prefer it over a lip stain. This has zero flavor or scent when I eat or lick my lips. Sun protection test: I have worn this outside while gardening in October/early November and haven't experienced any burning or sun sensitization on my lips. I haven't worn it during summer months when the sun is most intense, but the fact that the formula is flavorless and super moisturizing really incentivizes me to reapply often which is the most important factor when it comes to sunscreen (especially lip sunscreen which moves around more!), so I don't anticipate having issues with maintaining solar protection. 5/5 great product!
