On Oni Pond, the 2013 album from Philadelphia legends Man Man, features an arresting reconstruction of the band's visionary sound stripped to it's core and rebuilt as something new and compelling yet still very much Man Man. An intensive collaboration between the band's front man, Honus Honus, and drummer Pow Pow, who has assumed a new-found prominence in the songwriting process, on Oni Pond brings an exhilarating array of new rhythmic ideas to the mix. The compositions were further honed by the band members along with producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit) into a compelling mash-up of Fear of Music era Talking Heads, classic soul, psychedelia, hip hop, and 50's rock and roll. With it's imaginative yet spare rhythms, huge hooks, and overriding sense of urgency, on Oni Pond melds these seemingly disparate influences into an unexpectedly lush, melodic album, exquisitely consolidated by the band's unique and affecting vision.

Strong Chewer Friendly Toy

The Ad got me, the reality didn't

Directly from the ad- "Exclusive Noisemakers - Each large toy includes 3 high-quality round squeakers to deliver more sound to keep your best friend entertained.". Now my neighbor bought this squirrel with three high-quality squeakers nearly a year ago. It's ragged and tattered I just recently sewed it up for him where he chewed the one leg odd, but those three noise makers are still squeaking. Whe I got my pup, I immediately went to buy one and they were no longer selling them, so I've been on a search for one or an equivalent. These are not.
There's no stuffing to get all over the place when your pup breaks into it, a plus. However the squeakers weren't particularly loud and were silenced in a few hours. Two were dead and the remaining one was very well on its way. The toy itself was pretty much intact but that had more to do with the lack of attention from the dog than how rugged the toy is. He'll pick it up once in a while but it certainly didn't meet my expectations.
The good thing is that there are three of them so I can give him some brief excitement in the future. Wouldn't buy again.

Heavy chewer approved.
Style: Ball, Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
My pomsky will destroy a toy in minutes. Ropes, and the "indestructible" nylon type stuffs are no match for my furry shark. This ball has stood up to him like David. He loves the crunch and it is so much more tolerable than a squeaker. These will be a staple in his toy box - Chuckit toys are really the most durable dog toys I have found in three years.
