That means you can be sure you'll always have the right piece when you start your installation. Use in doorways or join 2 sections of hard surface flooring with an equal height with the T-molding. Use as a reducer to transition from vinyl plank to tile, laminate or hard surfaces of a different height. The end-molding configuration allows you to transition to carpet or to finish your flooring installation at sliding doors, fireplaces or other fixed edges. For best results, try laying out your moldings in the area where they will be installed before installing flooring planks. That way you can choose the plank that meets the transition to best fit your desired look. Fits 2001 325i

I love my 2001 E46 (325i), but one challenge is that the plastics no longer remain "dry" in the summer heat, instead becoming a sticky mess. Picked this up to replace my existing cup-holder.
I was optimistic that the black carbon fiber mesh would blend in with my otherwise black interior, but it's not the same shade of black, so the new part looks a bit out of place. No worries, I just need more carbon fiber replacement components!
This fits perfectly, snaps into place, and is definitely an improvement over ~25-year old plastic. Great value too, an inexpensive upgrade that has real functional improvements -- items in the cupholder no longer get discolored with "sticky" plastic in the sun.
