Forty-four years later, when Mahon retired as Chairman of that same committee, the committee was debating funds to purchase a bomber capable of traveling at 2,000 miles an hour. With a career spanning nearly a half century--spanning almost the entire Cold War--Mahon grew from a West Texas country lawyer to one of the most powerful men in the US House of Representatives, serving twenty-two consecutive terms from 1935-1978. During his time in Congress, Mahon worked easily with the giants of government, enjoying the friendship and confidence of seven of the eight presidents with whom he served. He worked just as comfortably with his constituents in the Nineteenth Congressional District of Texas. Mahon served on several Congressional committees, but it is through his service on the House Appropriations Committee and the Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations that he had the greatest national impact. He often bragged that under his leadership the Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations was the most non-partisan committee in Congress. Color: Light Purple
The chair is fine, and reasonably easy to put together. However, I've been using it for a little over a year and a half, and it's already falling apart. Random parts of it have fallen off, which is fine because it was still functional. But now the most frustrating part is that the wheels continue to pop off, and while the first attempts to pop them back on worked, they will not stay on now. This is obviously greatly impacting the stability, and I will need to purchase a replacement soon. For this price and lack of long-term durability, I would not buy again.

Alexa messed me up, but the company of the chair made it right!

I wanted something small with arms that moved out of the way when I wanted to slide my chair all the way into my desk for more space. This fit the bill. I loved the color blue and I had that in my cart for a bit. One day Alexa mentioned that an item that was in my cart was on sale. It was the chair. I let it be ordered. When it came it didn't exactly look blue to me. But I kept putting it together thinking maybe it was the lighting in the room I was assembling it in. I brought it to my craft room and lo and behold it is light purple. I looked at my order and sure enough it said light purple. Boo! I looked in my saved cart and the chair was gone. So I accepted it for an error. The next day I checked to see if I could return it. Thought I could, till I read that I would have to pay to return it. So I wrote the seller to tell them to ignore the return. And that was that. Till a couple days later I get an email from the seller asking if I would like a full refund or a replacement at no cost. I was like heck yeah send me the blue one. I was thrilled and I wanted to thank the seller for doing this without the return of the other chair. But I could not find a place to do that now. So here is where I will thank you. Thank you so much for doing this for me. You guys are AWESOME!. I love the chair and I love the blue color. I find it very comfortable, lite, easy to adjust, the size works great for me, and for the price the quality fits my needs. I do hope it lasts me for quite some time. Thanks again!

Awesome chair definitely recommend

It was amazing the color was spot on and it was very very easy to put together and the size is amazing for my 11 year old daughter maybe not for an older person it doesn’t recline as much as it says so if you want a reclining chair maybe I don’t recommend this chair but the quality is amazing and the adjustment capability is incredible the noise level is at 0 it is an amazing chair we just got it so I don’t know so much about the dupability so if you want this chair for a child or a tween maybe even a teen easy to put together beautiful blue color this is the chair for you.

Easy instructions, comfortable cushions
Color: Pink
I just put it together and I love it!!! It's so comfortable and it was easy to put together. You can rock it back and forth which helps your back. The seat is very wide and the cushion is thick. Pink is my favorite color, and this chair satisfies my pink obsession.

Wonderful chair
Color: Dark Black
I bought this office chair as a sewing tool, you might say. I felt that having an office chair on wheels would get me from the sewing machine to the ironing board and then to the cutting board and back to the sewing machine. I was having to get up and down to get around to all these places before and this saves me so much time and effort.
I’m 71 so when the box came I was hesitant to try to bust into it and put it together but it went together so easily. It’s very comfortable and the lumbar support feels great on my low back. When I first sat down after the assembly process, the chair cushion tipped down in the front but after contacting the support team I was advised to tighten the tilt tension located under the chair and that fixed me right up!
All and all, my chair is the perfect addition to my sewing area at a very affordable price. I couldn’t be happier!
