This case contains one bottle of each of the wines listed below.

• Saurwein, Chi Riesling, Elgin 2020 – 100% Riesling

Hints of citrus, fynbos, rose geranium, apple blossom and white stone fruit. On the palate it is zesty and fruity followed by flavours of citrus peel and lemon sherbet.

• David and Nadia, Aristargos, Swartland 2019 – 47% Chenin blanc & Semillon, Clairette Blanche, Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, Verdelho and Grenache blanc

Cool and silky with elegant white peach, mango and pineapple intermingled with honeysuckle, toasted hazelnuts and a flinty minerality that give this wine great depth and character.

• Thorne & Daughters, 'Rocking Horse' White Blend 2019 – 36% Roussanne, 25% Semillon, 22% Chenin Blanc, 11% Chardonnay, 6% Clairette

Aromas of yellow plum, kumquat, brioche and bay leaf, with saline undertones. The palate is broad and supple with a clean acidity on the finish.

• Storm Vineyards, Vrede Pinot Noir Hemel-en-Aarde 2018 – 100% Pinot Noir

Silky and generous Pinot Noir showing succulent violet rose petals and ripe summer strawberries with a delicate spiciness.

• Keermont, Syrah 2015 – 87% Syrah, 13% Mourvedre

Enchanting bouquet of violets, dusty sandal wood and a firm blackberry core, spicy red fruit and cherry sherbet. The palate is elegant and soft with supple tannins and a long earthy herbal finish.

• Blank Bottle, TGWS, Western Cape 2019 – Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache

An old school South African Bordeaux blend – back-in-the-day, Cinsault was illegally used to add acidity, longevity and to lighten Bordeaux blends. This Good Wine Shop own label can be described as somewhere between a Bordeaux and a Rhone.
