Follow-up to 2017's You Might Be Smiling Now... and contains the kind of melodies and mockery that led Uncut to class the band as the point at which "Stephin Merritt lies down with The Vaselines." At the forefront remain the mischievous lyrics and heartfelt vocals of siblings David and Katie Pope, aided and abetted by Chris Elkin on lead guitar, Fraser Ford on bass guitar and Jason Sweeney on drums. Yet it is the recruitment of multi-instrumentalist Arion Xenos and guest appearance of Butcher Boy's Alison Eales to arrange strings that have helped elevate the band's music to new heights. Their progression is most noticeable on lead single "Dear Diary, I Died Again today", a painfully beautiful admission of everyday anxiety and "When Nietzsche Calls", the triumphant cry of a spurned lover revelling in the misery of their ex to a backdrop of trumpets and violins. The juxtaposition of the fragility shown in these tracks with the menace of "Wee Guys (Bobby's Got A Punctured Lung)" - an observation and understanding of the casual violence that once cast a shadow over the band's hometown - highlights The Just Joans' ability to seamlessly flip between sensitivity and danger, and sums up why Highway Queens described them as the "perfect Glasgow kiss." Miracle in a bottle!
This was a lifesaver, I got badly burnt just walking for several miles one day. It was only in the 80's, not 100 degree's but still hot. Where I live there is a poor air quality, too. I was red as a lobster! It was painful and then i saw this. Read the reviews and hoped it would help. Did it ever! It not only helped sooth my skin, calm it down, it dramatically reduced the redness in just a few days!
I should have saved the photo's of the before a several days after, but I deleted them. (I wasn't thinking and they were kind of gross). They would have shown the extent of the healing thanks to this cream.
I even had some blisters, that shrank in two days after applying this! By the fourth day of applying this cream, they were gone and my skin went from being deep red to pink. What is even more awesome is this moisturized my skin! I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate it. So that was a plus!
My only issue was it's a little tacky, sticky after you apply it. So don't apply right before bed, unless you want to be stuck to your sheets. If you're in dire need of relief and to reduce the redness, this is what you want, it is a miracle in a bottle!

Good sunscreen
I originally had purchased the spray version of this product. Unfortunately, the cans clogged so I needed to return them and I ordered this instead. It tends to go on thick but I really need heavy protection so it’s fine. Seems to give good protection and I will buy it again. I’m only giving up four stars because I would’ve preferred the spray.

Long lasting. Excellent protection.
We took a trip to Florida from DC. Through full days at Disney and days on the beach, no one had even the slightest sunburn. We made sure to apply it at regular intervals, and that seemed to work amazingly. The texture wasn’t greasy at all, and the kids seem to have no problem putting it on themselves. It was very water resistant and seemed to last long in the pool. No overtly noticeable fragrances.

One of my fave moisturizers!
Love love love this lotion!
No residue, unscented and just enjoyable to use. It is very hydrating and great to use after you've been outside or just need a little extra boost to your skin. The ingredients are exceptional and I'm really excited to try other Blue Lizard brand products!! Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
