These plates are high-temperature moulded, and ‘dead blow’ giving a very low bounce. Bumper plates allow you to safely drop any load from the waist, chest, or even overhead with the confidence that you will not damage yourself, or your equipment. Heavy deadlifts, overhead presses, snatches, and cleans (and many others) can be attempted with the confidence that you can bail out without major consequence or injury. Do your floor (and ears) a favour and stop dropping those old metal plates.

These are our bumper plates of choice for any lifting that demands bumpers. Basically, whether you’re dropping the bar or not, bumper plates offer the best feel off and back onto the floor when lifting.

Important: All of our Bumper plates are coated with a silicon oil prior to packaging, to protect the plates in transit.  This can be simply removed with a rag, and surface cleaner.  We recommend a natural product such as "Simple Green", or simply use diluted laundry or dish-wash detergent.
