- Made with the tangy-flavoured gongura leaves, the pickle/pachadi reaches its spicy, yummy perfection by bringing together a whole range of flavours from tamarind, red chillies, coriander, fenugreek and cumin. The most popular pickle in the region, it is usually enjoyed with hot rice and ghee, but also goes well with dosa, idly, and even chapathi. We love it best with hot ghee dosas, but the Red Chilli Pickle can also be enjoyed with curd rice or any other meal of your choice! At Vellanki Foods, we’ve used groundnut oil in the making of this pickle.
- Known to have originated from the Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh where it popular as Korivi Kaaram, the Red Chilli Pickle or the Pandu Mirapakaya Pachadi is a pickle you will love if you enjoy spicy and tangy flavours.
- Gongura (sorrel) is a plant belonging to the hibiscus family, and is an ingredient that the Telugu people swear by! Not only in pickle form, gongura is quite versatile and is used in a range of other preparations as well in the Andhra and Telangana region.

not better than manual……!!!!!
Do Not Buy This Product.
this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work.
worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.

Easy to use! No more hand cranking.
If you like the ease of an electric can opener, but don’t have room to store it or don’t want to drag it out when you need to use it, this is for you. I like a handheld can opener, but would get so frustrated trying to use it and turn the handle. This can opener is amazing and so easy to use. Just attach to can and push a button. It starts turning on its own and when it is done it stops. You lift it up and the lid comes off cleanly. It is rechargeable so need to worry about batteries. It tucks away in a drawer nicely. I bought my mom one too. She has arthritis in her hands so thought this would be perfect for her.

Smooth edges better than twisting
