"First vinyl reissue of the second LP released by Alavaro Pena originally released in 1979 following the runaway success of his debut album, Drinkin My Own Sperm (FTR 174LP, 1977). Although recorded in Germany, Alvaro again employed his regular drummer, Antonio Narvaez, with a few assists on the second side from Hilde Schneider, Alvaro's then-wife. The first side was recorded by a German engineer, Olaf Dung, who carried his rig around with him in his briefcase. How this exactly worked is unclear, but the music is great and includes some of Alvaro's most classically catchy tunes. Lili Dwight is a long-time fan of 'Honey,' which she often sings aloud at apiary gatherings. Ted Lee does the same when crashing La Leche League outings to the strains of 'Mums Milk Not Powder.' And so on. Alvaro's second album is just the sort of thing you'll be happy to use for a personal soundtrack, regardless of your politics or trajectory. Apparently, however, Alvaro and Mr. Dung had a falling out before the album's second side was completed, which meant there are some ad hoc compositions added to finish out the record. Primary among these are 'Brown Loaf,' something of a baking tutorial conducted whilst Drinkin My Own Sperm plays on a nearby radio, and 'Washindishes,' which is one of the few tracks to ever document extended nose flute improvisations." - Byron Coley, 2016. Really liking this so far

I’ve been using this about twice a week and usually leave it on for around 2 hours before washing my hair. First thing I noticed was that it’s thick and moisturizing without making my hair feel oily or weighed down. A lot of hair oils I’ve tried in the past left my roots greasy, but this one doesn’t.
After I style my hair, it definitely looks shinier and feels fuller with more body. My ends also feel softer and less dry. I only need a small amount each time, so the jar should last a while.
The smell surprised me in a good way too. To me it smells kind of like coffee or peanut butter. It has a natural scent and isn’t too strong.
I know hair growth products take time and I’m realistic about that, so I’m planning to keep using it consistently for a few months before judging those results. But based on how healthy and manageable my hair already looks, I’m happy with this purchase so far.

Been using this Batana Oil for a few weeks and my hair already feels thicker, softer, and healthier. I’ve noticed less shedding and my scalp stays moisturized without feeling greasy. You can tell it’s natural and high quality. Definitely worth trying if you’re dealing with thinning or breakage.

So Far So Great

Super excited to add this product into my hair care regimen. The batana oil has a mild but pleasant smell. The oil is more of a paste so I don’t have to use much. On days when I layer products, I like to oil my scalp and hair strands and apply the batana oil to my ends as a sealant. I also apply it to my hairline and scalp sometimes. So far it has made my hair feel and look moisturizer, soft and fuller. I’m very excited to see the positive effects that it has long term. I was encouraged to apply the product from the plethora of positive reviews. And the fact that batana oil is proven to be great for hair health.

Moisturizer type 4 hair

This oil provided my type 4 hair a lot of moisture. The texture of this product is moist. It worked for me when I needed the extra moisture to pull back my hair or to stretch my hair prior to twisting or braiding. I used it about 3 times a week. I’ve had it a months and I still have almost 1/2 a jar left. If you are looking for shine, this one provided shine but only after I brushed it. Overtime it helped my hair be easier to work with. The smell is okay - nothing overbearing that interfered with my own perfume. Look at the picture and you can see that it came sealed very well. Buy it and see for yourself how great it is.
