A narrative with words, thanks to the renowned Melologhi, in their first absolute recording with Italian text, in which the extraordinary actress Milena Vukotic offers a brilliant example of the potential guaranteed by a great reciting voice in synergy with the rich, profound, and mysterious piano of Filippo Faes. It continues with musical narratives, offered by Anna Serova's splendid viola in the equally famous Märchenbilder: and then again the Märchenerzählungen, where Marco Thomas's clarinet joins the viola. How could it not conclude with one of the most famous pages of literature of all time, namely the Quintet Op. 44?
