Embark on a wondrous journey through the land of Whichwood in this stunning companion to Tahereh Mafi's acclaimed bestseller Furthermore. A Kirkus Best Book of the Year ★ "Deliciously descriptive prose. . . . Darkly fascinating." -Kirkus★ "Unforgettable heroine." -Booklist
★ "Mafi's language choices create visually arresting moments." -Shelf Awareness Our story begins on a frosty night . . .
Laylee can barely remember the happier times before her beloved mother died. Before her father, driven by grief, lost his wits (and his way) and she was left as the sole remaining mordeshoor in the village of Whichwood, destined to spend her days scrubbing the skins and souls of the dead in preparation for the afterlife. It's become easy to forget and easier still to ignore not only her ever-increasing loneliness, but the way her overworked hands are stiffening and turning silver, just like her hair. But soon, a pair of familiar strangers appear, and Laylee's world is turned upside down as she rediscovers color, magic, and the healing power of friendship. Lush and enchanting, critically-acclaimed author Tahereh Mafi weaves together an all-new magical adventure in this dark, Persian fantasy, a companion to the New York Times bestselling Furthermore.
★ "In deliciously descriptive prose, the confiding, familiar narrator directly engages the 'dear reader' with witty asides, explanatory footnotes, and cautionary warnings as Laylee's woeful tale unfolds... Mafi uses her built world to interrogate norms and relationships in our own while never losing sight of her story. Memorable new characters experience the restorative power of friendship in this darkly fascinating, somewhat ghoulish sequel to Furthermore. -Kirkus, starred review ★ "It's Laylee's personal transformation that shines brightest, giving Mafi's singular fantasy an equally unforgettable heroine." -Booklist, starred review ★ "Whichwood, Tahereh Mafi's companion novel to Furthermore, is as absorbing as (if not more than) its predecessor.... Mafi's language choices create visually arresting moments.... Deftly explores several appealing themes, including the healing power of friendship and the resilience to overcome adversity in her whimsical, Persian-inspired fantasy world." -Shelf Awareness, starred review

Absolutely Amazing!! Truly the perfect pillow!
Size: Queen / Standard, Color: White
I absolutely love these pillows. They couldn't be more perfect! I have spent years buying and throwing out pillow after pillow. I struggle with a lot of neck and upper back pain and I struggled even more trying to find the right pillow on top of spending several hundred dollars on pillows that just got tossed. If you want a great night of sleep and you want to wake up feeling refreshed and not struggling with fatigue and every day neck or back pain you absolutely MUST give these pillows a try!!! They are super easy to wash, made with great quality and have not once bothered my many allergies like most pillows do. I have not noticed any of the chemical odors moat pillows give off, easy to adjust does great with just occasional fluffing. So far has stayed fluffy for me although I did put it in the dryer a time or two as the instructions stated to help with extra fluff and also because I couldn't wait for them to air fluff when they first arrived, an Air B&B we stayed at had these and I ordered them before we even headed back home I loved them so much I had to order my own and was too impatient to wait!

Comfortable Support
Size: King, Color: White
These bed pillows provide good comfort and support for sleeping, with a nice balance of softness and structure. They hold their shape fairly well and work for both back and side sleeping positions. The overall feel is comfortable and helps improve sleep quality.
Overall, they are reliable everyday pillows that offer good comfort and support.

Very comfortable. On the soft side.
Size: Queen / Standard, Color: White
Soft, but not too soft. I would actually give 4.5 stars. The pillow is a bit too long and bulky, wish it had a bit more support, but overall, great purchase considering the price. Hopefully it doesn't degrade after washing.

Excellent pillows that are worth the cost
Size: Queen / Standard, Color: White
These are wonderful. Completely relieved my back pain the first night I slept on them -– I put one underneath my back as I slept, and a weeklong terrible pain vanished overnight. Felt like sleeping on a cloud. As others have noted, they are neither too soft nor too firm…they’re really just right, and I think would make great guest room pillows since everyone would like them. These were definitely worth the money.
