I ease in, I wear it outside for a bit then put on sunblock until I have a good base tan - everyones different, without sunblock you’ll still burn… (since this isn’t sunblock) Putting it on is my least fav, hate the feeling of it on my hands, will get on everything in a 20 ft radius of you, but once it soaks in you’re good to go. You will smell like coffee for the next few hours, which is nice if you enjoy the scent.
