Introducing the Infratech C Series Single Element with Contemporary Motif C2024BL1 2000 Watts 240V 8.33 Amps Infrared Electric Patio Heater 39 x 8.19 x 2.5 in. Black Color. This is a 2000 Watt 240 Volt 8.3 Amp heater. At 39 inches long, this heater will heat an area of 6 by 6 feet at a mounting height of between 7 and 8 feet. The C Series heaters may be surface or flush mounted, however, it is the preferred model for surface mounting due to its more slim and contemporary "C" shape. In comparison, the larger bodied W Series is better suited for flush mount installation, providing for better ventilation within the ceiling pocket. This heater is available in Stainless Steel and eight additional colors as well as a Marine Grade Option. Compatible controls for this heater are the Simple On/Off switch, the Input Regulators and all Custom Control options. Please keep in mind that the available Infratech heater voltages of 120, 208 and 240 are typical for residential properties, while 277 and 480 are more common for commercial. If you're not sure which voltage to choose, please consult with a licensed electrician. These heaters come with a full 3 year warranty from Infratech.

Thoughtful and honest
Format: Kindle
I am so glad I read this! I've heard the term "cultural appropriation" many more times than I can count, but I hadn't thought about it in the context of religion. Bucar's writing is so engaging, and the book is a great blend of narrative non-fiction and theory. I couldn't put it down! Highly recommend.

An important and interesting read; well written and researched
Format: Hardcover
The author uses personal experiences to illustrate and enliven the text. Ms. Bucar challenges us to look at our own reactions, thoughts and practices. I would recommend this book for discussion at my book club.

Not what I was hoping for
Format: Paperback
I've been interested in the topic of religious appropriation ever since I saw my non-Tibetan neighbor hang Tibetan prayer flags on his front porch. And when I lived in Japan, I saw that non-Christian Japanese appropriated all of the trappings of Western Christian wedding ceremonies. So I had high hopes for this book. But it reads like a very looooong, and also very academic sermon on the evils of capitalism, western hegemony, and other such terms. There is not an ounce of humor in any of this book.

Pop culture: yoga, croases, costumes, tattoos of sacred symbols …is not religious appropiation.
Format: Hardcover
Neither are Christmas trees, a pagan tradition, except to religious fundamentalists. Religion, all religions … which are all patriarchal by origin and definition is to be challenged for hypocrisy … see Madonna for in your face pop blasphemy. This is not scholarship.
