She responded to Mussolini's invasion of the country in 1935 by founding a weekly newspaper New Times and Ethiopia News, which she was to edit for twenty years. She protested against the Fascist use of poison-gas in Ethiopia, and published news of the Ethiopian patriot resistance. Her paper condemned Britain's "appeasement" of the Axis Dictators, and supported the Republican Government in the Spanish Civil War. After Mussolini's entry into the European War, on the side of Nazi Germany, she agitated against the return to Italy of her African colonies. Ever against colonialism, she clashed with the British Government in demanding the full restoration of Ethiopian independence, and advocated the "reunion" of the former Italian colony of Eritrea with Ethiopia. She raised funds for Ethiopia's first teaching hospital, and wrote extensively on Ethiopian art and culture. Having moved to Addis Ababa in 1956, with her son, the author, she founded a monthly journal, Ethiopia Observer, on many aspects of Ethiopian life and development. She died in 1960, and was buried with the Ethiopian Patriots, in front of Trinity Cathedral in Addis Ababa, in the presence of the Emperor.Binding Type: Paperback

Excelente para controlar el eczema
Compré este jabón porque mi esposo padece de eczema en el rostro y sinceramente ha sido un antes y un después para su piel. Mientras lo usa constantemente, su piel se mantiene mucho más sana, calmada y con menos brotes.
Lo único que notamos es que no puede usarlo en zonas donde la piel está normal, porque tiende a resecar bastante. Funciona mejor aplicado solo en las áreas afectadas. También vimos que si deja de usarlo por más de una semana, el eczema vuelve a aparecer, así que en su caso necesita usarlo con frecuencia para mantener la piel controlada.
Aun así, ha sido de los productos que más diferencia real le ha hecho.

Will Flare up your eczema. .
I should have known better than to use it... I was looking up fragrance free soap. This soap made me Flare up within 5 minutes of getting out of the shower

Very strong perfumed scent
I wanted to love this soap as it sounds like it has a lot of skin loving ingredients, however when I opened the packaging I was immediately disappointed that there was a strong perfumed scent in the soap. I have extremely sensitive skin that flares up easily if I use scented products so unfortunately I didn’t try this soap because of the smell. I took off 3 stars due to the strong smell. If you like perfumed soaps this most likely won’t be an issue. It’s a decent sized bar so that’s definitely a positive note but because of the scent I was afraid to try it. If they make an unscented version of this soap I may give it a try as this one was a no go for me.

Gentle soap, great for hands and body!
I love how gentle this oatmeal soap is. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and doesn’t irritate my hands even when they are rough. I keep one at my sink and one in the shower. The natural scent is lovely and not overpowering. A must-buy for those looking for a mild cleanser!

Itchy, red skin BE GONE!
My 94 year old father has recently had a terrible resurfacing of his psoriasis with red, itchy, flaky sores all over his body! It's been so bad that he can't even sleep at night. My heart has been aching for him BUT he is finally getting some relief from this amazing soap!! I just saw him yesterday and, compared to two weeks ago, the redness and itching has lessened considerably. Plus, he loves the way it smells! What a true JOY to know he is on the mend, in part because of this product. I am about to purchase another bar for my sister who suffers the with the same issue. THANK YOU fo making a product that actually does what it claims to do!!!!!!
