The first four chapters examine the origins of chemistry, alchemy, applied chemistry, and early medical chemistry. Subsequent sections consider early studies of combustion and the nature of the atmosphere, the discovery of gases (including Priestley's experiments on air and his discovery of oxygen), Lavoisier and the foundation of modern chemistry, laws of combining proportions and atomic theory; Davy, Berzelius, and electrochemical theory; the beginnings and development of organic chemistry, the theory of valency, history of physical chemistry, periodic law, and the structure of the atom.
Sections on Indian and Chinese science have been rewritten in light of recent investigations. The author has also incorporated additional material relating to Mayow and Lavoisier and has added an entirely new section on advances in chemistry.
Most of the information in this volume has been drawn from original sources. A selection of references and a short bibliography of about 100 items are given to assist readers seeking further information.

I got this to replace an old iPad Pro. It does everything my old pro did, except for having a smaller screen. Good value and set up and migration from old iPad was super easy. Good battery life and so far playing games on it haven't been an issue

Ipad works great, easy to set up and everything transferred from the cloud from a backup I had (thank god because my other ipad is completely dead). Everything is in order except they put the magnets in the wrong spot xD. It doesnt matter functionality wise and I feel its more hassle to exchange than its worth so I am going to keep the iPad. With the case its in it doesnt really matter because theres a spot already for the pen.

The best iPad it’s worth the money it works perfectly fine I think the battery life is fine, but it probably needs a little bit of work, I would choose Apple anytime of the week. The durability is perfect and everything and the gameplay is absolute amazing. this is also for personal use and probably college use. I’m probably going to use this for college as well.
