By 1900, in the midst of the Golden Age of the Cocktail, ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters was firmly rooted into the cocktail cultures of the USA, UK and Europe. The phenomenon of "American Bars" such as the iconic Savoy Hotel in the UK (1880), and the legendary Ritz Hotel in Paris, France (1898) brought classic cocktails, and its popularity among the "glitterati" of the time, into a permanent part of global history. Cocktails such as the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan rose in popularity.

The first recorded "Cocktail Party" was held in 1917. Mrs. Julius S. Walsh Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, was reported to have invited 50 friends over to her mansion for a 1-hour party of drinking and merriment which she termed as “a Cocktail Party.” A variety of drinks were served, among those, some ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters mainstays, such as Martinis and Manhattans. This idea was seen as an “innovation,” and Mrs. Walsh even received public praise for the idea in the newspapers.

By 1933, the "Noble Experiment" came to an end, forging the way for an expanded range of classics enjoyed by then celebrities and socialites who could afford the risk and luxury of social drinking. While Prohibition raged in the US, many flocked to "friendlier" climes such as Europe leading to the growth of cocktail cultures outside of the USA. The publishing of the Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930 brought many of these classics and contemporary cocktails into wider popularity.

Best toy for a puppy who loves tug-o-war
My puppy (lab/shepherd) went nuts for this toy. She loves to play tug-o-war. This is so durable and the grip handles on the end totally help you out. She loves to bit in the middle and will whip it at you to get you to engage with her. The size is perfect for her and the KONG material must feel good for her.

GREAT DOG TOY INDESTRUCTIBLE!
Best dog toy yet! My large breed year old pup is very hard on toys and this one stands up to the wild playing and chewing! Excellent purchase I’ll definitely buy it again to have extras around and I’d definitely give it as a gift! Happy dog happy life! GREAT PRODUCT

Kong didn't survive this guy.
He had it for an hour.. We played tug for around 10 minutes then he took it off and chewed it up.. I thought Kongs were tougher to chew up.. very dissapointed.

One of the best dog toys we've found
This is one of my little girl's favorite toys. She's an aggressive chewer so at first we followed the manufacturers instructions not to let her use as a chew toy. It was purchased in January 2025, but it's holding up just fine. She likes to turn it into a pretzel for some reason, but hey it keeps her entertained! Highly recommend.

Good for play but don’t leave out to be chewed on
With two labs we need durable toys. This can stand up to the teeth when pulling but we can’t leave it laying around or it has chunks chewed out of it. And it’s not the toys fault that my girls can’t figure out how to each take a side, so it’s a human vs dog pull toy.
