Why do I need the LSX Cylinder Head Upgrade kit?
When removing your existing cylinder heads there are 3x key factors that need replacement!
The OEM LS Lifters are known to fail, this causes immediate issues by damaging the camshaft and ricking putting metal through the motor from the roller
The OEM Head Bolts are torque to yield - This means once they are torqued down into place the threads have stretched. Although some do run the risk and re use them it is highly recommended they are changed prior to fitting the new heads.
The OEM Head Gaskets are definitely not reusable. Once the heads are removed they need to be thrown away and replaced.
