Don Julio 1942 Tequila is made from fully matured blue Weber agave plants grown in the highlands of Atotonilco, Mexico, in an area of the Julio family estate. The agave is hand-picked, and the pina is slow-cooked for three days before being incorporated into the tequila-making process. Don Julio 1942 is aged for 2.5 years in ex-bourbon casks, with no more than 600 liters of tequila in each cask, ensuring a luxurious finish.
