The board measures 20 inches (50.8 cm) with 2.25 inch squares (5.715 cm) 0.06 inch thickness (1.52 mm). Complete with algebraic notation on the perimeter of the squares to simplify lessons and study past games. Perfect for any chess club, park game, school, or tournament games. The board squares will fit chessmen with 1.75 to 2 inch diameter base. We recommend the board is stored flat or rolled, but this floppy chess board only weighs 9 oz. and will easily fold to a compact size for travel. Will also roll to fit a standard chess bag.
