Mungo marries Alice Piers (the grand-daughter of the notorious seducer St John Piers) in 1872. The letters go on to relate their early married life and the birth of their first child. This book is the result of two years painstaking research by MungoÕ great grandson, transcribing letters and researching the wider family tree and will be of interest to anyone researching their own family tree in the latter half of the nineteenth century.
