This beautiful frame is 1 3/4 wide and 1 3/4" in depth giving this frame a substantial appearance even at a larger 36" x 48" size. The rabbet depth is 1/2" deep but 3/4" to the back of he frame so it will easily accommodate a 3/4" stretcher bar canvas. A great frame for a matted watercolor or pastel.
