A conqueror staining the world with evil. An innocent king reveling in evil. The resonance of their madness—manifested in a 1/3 scale hellscape. From "Dark Nights: Death Metal," the epic event depicting the final battle for the fate of the DC Universe in the early 2020s, Batman Who Laughs & Robin King join the Museum Masterline. Having seized the power of Dr. Manhattan, The Batman Who Laughs has ascended to a near-godlike being. The Robin King, driven by his innate impulses, revels in brutality. This 1/3 scale statue captures these two supervillains, whose resonance goes beyond master and servant. To further emphasize their overwhelming presence, the hellish base has been meticulously designed with careful attention to composition. The Batman Who Laughs stands in a commanding pose, embodying immense power and ambition. A sharply reimagined visor. Steel tones with a subtle bluish hue. A sinister black cape flowing ominously. Every element of color and sculpt comes together to create a dark and majestic presence. In contrast, the Robin King is posed as if eagerly anticipating his next atrocity. His cunning, fearless grin—distinct from the Groblins—has been intricately sculpted. Within his small frame resides a pure, unfiltered malice, expressed through every fine detail. Swappable parts include multiple head sculpts for The Batman Who Laughs and a left arm for the Robin King with extended claws, allowing for a variety of display options. Two forms of madness, brought to life in stunning three-dimensional detail—add them to your DC collection.

I was happy to discover Merwin's poetry.
Format: Paperback
Great collection of some of Merwin's early poetry. There's a mystical mysterious feel too a lot of his writing, which I like.

A Reading of "The Last One"
Format: Paperback
This poem represents Merwin at his insidious best, the conversational tone of the poem slowly leading to something imminently and undefinably dark, doom-laden. The poem was originally published in "The Lice" a book of poems written in the French countryside where, Merwin says, "I felt at once a profound attraction to the rural world in which I was living and a disquieting recognition of the fragility and uncertainty of my relation to it." "The Last One" ominously conveys that disquiet.
