Bull Trout's Gift: A Salish Story about the Value of Reciprocity"We were wealthy from the water," Mitch Smallsalmon says, and like all the tribal elders, he speaks to our understanding of the natural world and the consequences of change. "We were wealthy from the water," Mitch Smallsalmon says, and like all the tribal elders, he speaks to our understanding of the natural world and the consequences of change. In this book the wisdom of the elders is passed on to the young as the story of the Jocko River, the home of the bull trout, unfolds for a group of schoolchildren on a field trip.
The Jocko River flows through the Flathead Indian Reservation in northwestern Montana. For thousands of years the Salish and Pend d'Oreille Indians lived along its banks, finding food and medicine in its plants and fish, and in the game hunted on its floodplain. Readers of this story will learn, along with the students of Ms. Howlett's class, about the history and culture of the river and its meaning in Native life, tradition, and religion. They will also discover the scientific background and social importance behind the Tribes' efforts to restore the bull trout to its home waters. Beautifully illustrated and narrated in the tradition of the Salish and Kootenai Tribes, this account of conservation as the legacy of one generation to the next is about being good to the land that has been good to us. Bull Trout's Gift is steeped in the culture, history, and science that our children must know if they hope to transform past wisdom into future good.

Nice suit pants
Color: Black, Size: 14, Color: Black, Size: 14
Sorry they are covered by a long shirt in this picture, but they are great pants! They are fully adjustable with a huge range of buttons for sizing the stretchy tabs inside. They are made of a soft, durable fabric, and my son said they’re comfortable enough to wear all day. They looked really nice, though since we had to cinch them tight for this super skinny guy, and belt might have helped to cover up the bunching in the back.

Dress pants did not fit right on my grandson. Too big in the waist and wasn't long enough. I returned the pants.

Smart-Looking Pants That Fit Well
Color: Navy Blue, Size: 8
I had my son wear these for a church, and they looked sharp without being too stiff. The adjustable waist makes them comfortable, and the fabric feels durable enough to handle a few hours of running around. They held their shape well and didn’t wrinkle too easily. After a couple of wears, they still look crisp and clean. The overall fit and finish make them feel like a well-made pair of dress pants.

Kids Formal Vest Review
Color: Royal Blue, Size: 12, Color: Royal Blue, Size: 12
At the time of review, the price was $17.09. It seems to be correctly priced for the value it provides. I found this vest to be versatile, suitable for a range of formal and semi-formal occasions, from weddings to school events, and capable of being dressed up or down. The fit generally seemed accurate or slightly generous, though it does come with the adjustable back strap offering some customization. The overall quality of the vest, including its construction and stitching, appeared to be good, with a durable and well-made feel. It presented a polished and sharp appearance that could elevate an outfit, and the color is very close to the product image. The material felt substantial and structured, yet breathable, often featuring a silky lining and a notable texture and seems to be machine washable. Based on the quality I've seen, I considered this vest to offer good value for its price point. The vest provides a functional option for children's formal wear. Its design and construction suggest practical utility for various events... or your kid can just wear it all the time like mine does.
