Features & Highlights

Performance & Playability

  • Offensive-biased Diamond Shape: With the sweet spot high on the head, this design helps convert your power into aggressive offensive shots and decisive smashes.

  • Head-Heavy Balance: Enhances leverage and shot output, especially on fast attacks and overheads.

  • Soft Performance EVA Core: A low-density core that balances power with comfort, improving ball output while reducing strain during intense exchanges.

  • Carbon Aluminized 16K Face: Provides rigidity, explosive power and durability with a crisp, sharp feel on impact.

  • Spin Blade Decal Surface: Textured hitsurface increases ball grip for better spin and effect on slices, topspins and tactical shots.

  • Smart Holes Curve: Strategically placed holes improve aerodynamics, shot precision and spin response.

Advanced Technologies

  • Weight & Balance System: Customize the racket’s balance and weight up to ~11.2 g to match your playstyle — prioritize power or maneuverability.

  • Octagonal Structure: Reinforced carbon tubular frame section reduces twist, adding rigidity and shot stability under high force.

  • Low Poly Design: Polyhedral frame and core structure improve overall stiffness, boosting explosive power delivery.

  • Power Groove: A reinforcing rail within the racket profile increases rigidity and maximizes energy transfer for more potent strokes.

  • Extra Power Grip: Extended handle increases inertia and leverage, assisting in more powerful smashes and explosive momentum.

  • Structural Reinforcement: Reinforces the whole frame for durability and consistent performance under pressure.

Player Benefits

  • Combines power and control for dominating offensive play with finesse on placement shots.

  • Ideal for players who want variability in balance and feel depending on match demands.

  • The soft core adds comfort without compromising high-impact performance.

Translation not Literal!
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
The fist volume had a more literal translation then the second. If first Clement and Didache are in your reading list, Shepard of Hermas will fit there too!

At times it has been somewhat repetitive and tedious to read
Format: Hardcover
One of the earliest books in Christianity, The Shepherd of Hermas was probably written around 140AD, and avidly read for the first few hundred years. Likely its failure to become one of the recognized books of the Canon (Bible) had something to do with its fall-off in popularity. Today, while an Apocryphal book from the age of Apostolic Fathers, it seems arcane, and somewhat desultory. Nevertheless, one can see this book as a vision, a dream, or even an attempt to describe elements of purgatory. Both Latin and Greek copies, at least in part have been found, there are also parts missing which make reading it a bit of a challenge. At times it has been somewhat repetitive and tedious to read. I read the edition and translation from the Greek by Bart D. Ehrman: "The Apostolic Fathers Vol. II" from the Loeb Classical Library. The original author was claimed by some to be the brother of Pope Pius I. It is interesting to have a view into what the Council Fathers were looking at when deciding what to add to the Canon, and what not to add. The probings by our minds, between the dark and the daylight, are not so different a few thousand years later. How is God going to judge me and my sins? What must I do to prepare? What is within my ability and what is not? And where do I fit in His Kingdom?
