2016 release from the electronic musician and former member of Emeralds. "Strands is a song cycle that is about cosmogony and creation/destruction myths. The title alludes to the structural constitution of ropes as I wanted to approach the compositions so that they consisted of strands and fibers which form a unified whole. This was so the songs could have the appearance of being either taut or slack without being fundamentally locked to a grid. So the sounds/tones have a certain malleability to them and sound like they're bending through time. It's also grittier and more distorted than my previous albums. I wanted to try and capture that moment in nature and society where life slowly reemerges through desolation, so it has a layer of optimism looming underneath. The music represents this by seemingly decaying at times but then reforms and morphs in a fluid way back to it's original state. I was also inspired by the movement of rivers, particularly their transformative aspect and how they're in a state of flux and change, in particular the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland where I live, which notoriously caught on fire thirteen times because of industrial pollution in the 1960s and before. I was very interested in the dichotomy of oil and water and the resulting, unnatural symptoms of human industry. It's a very personal record for me as it is a reflection of my hometown where I grew up and where it was mostly recorded."-Steve Hauschildt.

Just right bananas
Buying more groceries on Amazon lately. So, want to start sharing experience. The bananas were just right—not too ripe and not too green. Would buy them again thru Amazon

Received a perfect bunch!
Some things are truly hit or miss with Amazon Fresh grocery deliveries!
I Some things are truly hit or miss with Amazon Fresh grocery deliveries!
I hadn’t ordered bananas for about a month due to what I’d received in the past.
Personal preference? I want those lovely pale green ends! Please!!! I don’t like the flavor or even the change in scent that happens when bananas turn darker yellow, freckle - or worse? Turn brown. Yuck.
Each previous delivery, I hadn’t been able to eat more than 3 out of each bunch because of the already yellowed fruit received. I even tried the currently trendy recommendation of wrapping the individual stem ends in plastic wrap to help slow the ripening process.
Was very pleased to receive a bunch of 6 small sized bananas, all delicately green and completely beautiful!
Beautiful job by the thoughtful delivery person as well, who didn’t just leave the bags in the rain on the (only 2!) steps, but made sure they were under the protection of the porch and not blocking my door.
Some items I never order anymore (beloved snap peas and garnet potatoes are two examples) after receiving spoiled items - more than once.
Apparently notifying Amazon of our understandable disappointment, not to mention the waste! can sometimes improve the quality of items delivered.
I do very much appreciate the Amazon Fresh delivery service in my (rapidly approaching) old age. As I rarely go out anymore, this has Some things are truly hit or miss with Amazon Fresh grocery deliveries!

Nice size bananas. Not bruised or spoiled. Good bananas!
Really beautifully picked for ripeness and last a few days once you get them home.

Great-Tasting Protein Shake With Fresh Product Dates and Excellent Nutrition
Flavor Name: Chocolate, Size: 11 Fl Oz (Pack of 12)
I picked up this Premier Protein chocolate shake 12-pack mainly as a convenient daily protein option, and overall the quality has been excellent.
The chocolate flavor tastes very good without being overly sweet, and the texture is smooth compared to many protein drinks that can feel chalky or heavy. The 30 grams of protein also make it very practical for quick meals, post-workout use, or busy days when preparing food is not convenient.
One thing I appreciated is that the product arrived with fresh expiration dates, which is important when buying protein drinks in bulk. The packaging was also in good condition, and the bottles were easy to store and carry.
The nutritional balance is another strong point, especially with the added vitamins and minerals included without extra added sugar. Compared to many other ready-to-drink protein shakes, this one feels lighter while still being filling and satisfying.
In terms of value for the money, it feels like a very good purchase considering the quality, nutrition content, convenience, and freshness.
Overall, a high-quality protein shake with excellent taste, fresh product dates, strong nutritional value, and very good everyday convenience. It can also be mixed with other flavors.
