Studio Mule presents Yoshimi Ueno's Taiko No Uminari, originally issued in 1980 on Johnny's Disk Record. Johnny's Disk Record is an independent jazz label run by the owner of jazz cafe Kaiunbashi No Johnny, located in Rikuzentakata City in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. The legendary label released a string of albums of high quality but down-to-earth music, spanning from modern and avant-garde jazz to left-field pop. Albums such as Teru Sakamoto's Farewell My Johnny / Left Alone and Eiji Nakayama's Aya's Samba (STUDIOMUL 013LP, 2019) have reached cult status among fans as some of the best works to come out of the Japanese jazz scene. Taiko No Uminari is the only solo record drummer Yoshimi Ueno released before passing. The album features "Sea Sound", a hard bop number with soulful melodies and impressive saxophone playing by Yasuaki Shimizu, the folky and melancholic "Tsuchi Ningyo", composed by labelmate Nakayama, the romantic ballad "My Spirit" by pianist Keisaku Takahashi, poly-rhythmic jam "Skip" written by Ueno himself, "K. Blues", a bluesy tune with a bit of a New Orleans jazz vibe, and "Uzushio," a duet between Nakayama's bass and Ueno's drums. Edition of 500.

I had high hopes for these cause we have other spot brand toys that have last a long time. Unfortunately these just don't hold up to the test! My dogs had them broken in about 5 - 10 mins. They did smell good tho and my dogs went crazy over them before I ever got them out of the bag. Lol.

Smells too strong

My dog hates the way this thing smells. She tries to play with it, but the scent is too strong for her nose. I know it's the scent because she usually sniffs it two or three times in between trying to grab it with her mouth. She treats it like an explosive in her mouth and quickly moves away after spitting it out.
She used to have a bone that looked similar to this (same material) that was unscented and she gnawed the hell out of it. My sister's pitbull spent the night and chewed that toy into bits, leaving my Yorkie mourning the loss of her once treasured bone.
Please make an UNSCENTED version of this toy!!!!

Bully proof?!

We have the cutest little pit/lab mix who destroys stuffed toys in about two seconds flat. It’s always a HUNT to find toys he won’t instantly shred. This brand has some of the best! They were in FiveBelow for a while and it was the only brand that stood up to him initially. He finally got through the first only after MONTHS so we bought a few back ups and they’re still going strong months later!
They’re also not super heavy so these end up being the toys we play fetch with most often! 100% will be buying more in this line in the future!
