This non-toxic, no-rinse solution is free from steroids and antibiotics, designed to accelerate the healing process. Vetericyn™ is also free from alcohol and iodine. This innovative antimicrobial wound solution is effective against antibiotic-resistant bacteria strains, including MRSA, as well as fungi, viruses, and spores. It features an oxychlorine compound that mirrors what is naturally produced by the animal's own neutrophils, ensuring it does not damage healthy tissue. Being pH neutral, it is gentle and should not cause any stinging upon application.
Ingredients: Oxidized Water, Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), and Sodium Chloride (NaCl).
Directions for use: Remove excess hair from the area of the wound. Trim if needed. Adjust the spray nozzle. Apply Vetericyn VF HydroGel generously to the wound to clean, address infections, and enhance the healing process. If a dressing is necessary, apply Vetericyn VF HydroGel generously on the dressing before placing it on the wound. Repeat as often as needed each day until the wound is fully healed. No rinsing is required. The skin may appear slightly pink after application due to increased blood circulation to the wound site, which aids in faster healing.
Indications: Suitable for managing traumatic wounds, cuts, abrasions, skin irritations, post-surgical incisions, and burns. Safe for use around the eyes, mouth, and nose.
