This is a whimsical story about love and longing for nature and expressing love through music. It is also a story about what we are looking for is often right in front of us such as all of the man's mistaking of the moon for ordinary things. This book was really written by the illustrations as the story and words only fully developed as the character of the old man and the cat came to life on paper. This was a collaboration between Beth Fox who put words to the story that developed through the inspiration and illustrations.
