PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :

Car xenon lamp, xenon, bi-xenon - the colloquial name of the HID lighting system used in cars that plays the role of low beam or low beam and road lights in parallel. It is a variation of a metal halide lamp - a lamp in which xenon was used as the ignition gas in order to quickly achieve a satisfactory level of luminous flux. These lamps are characterized by higher luminous efficacy compared to traditional halogen lamps. While the halogen lamp produces 1500 lm, drawing a 55 W xenon lamp produces, depending on its color temperature, around 3,200 lm, drawing 35 W and much less heating up. These lamps have a long lifetime, comparable to the life of a car. With time, however, they lose their intensity, and the value of their color temperature goes up the scale. Such lamps require a special ignition system that generates the high voltage necessary to run them.
