Headland is a collective of Australian musicians that compose, record and perform soundtrack music for surf films in various forms. The group leader is Murray Paterson, an old surfer himself, who in between wrangling two red-headed boys, finds time here and there to record bits and pieces of guitar-based music. Mostly he heads to Nashuaville where his longtime colleague from a previous life in arts education, Les Dorahy, has set up a small recording studio in the old Booyong General Store, situated in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Whenever friends visit their part of the world, they drop past and join in. Most of the music remains instrumental but this new album is a collection of songs. One of Murray's comrades from his days with Tex Perkins and The Dark Horses is Joel Silbersher. Joel has been a longtime Headland collaborator-playing bass and guitar-but while recording material for the new album, vocal melodies kept finding their way into Murray's instrumentals. Soon there seemed enough of a coherent lyrical theme to build an album around. There's still enough of the spacious Australian land and seascapes to satisfy fans of the previous Headland albums, journeys through a sonic architecture centered around the motion of the ocean and it's meeting with the coastline. But a narrative of loss and longing sits on the surface here: Silbersher's voicing is an emotive thread that breaches at all the right times. There are references to the likes of Alex Chilton, Nick Drake and Daniel Lanois but Christian Pyle (Prawn & Spanner Studio) brings a sensitivity to the mix so that any references float rather than reveal themselves in bold relief. What Rough Beast marks the development of an ensemble and documents a sense of meaning embedded with the tone of place. File under Salty.

absolutely must buy perfect for dogs. I have a large black lab and he has had so much fun with us.
Size: Large Size 3, Color: White-Blue
I have to say that my dog would be considered an aggressive tower. However, this ball has stayed intact. I love that it comes with the pump. It’s extremely functional very soft for catching can be cleaned. Very easy easy the quality is exceptional. Very functional does have a bounce. I can say he has had so much fun with this since it’s getting it for his birthday on 11/11 I highly recommend this product and would definitely buy again.

Perfect for keep-away
Size: Large Size 3, Color: Red-Blue
I purchased one of these for my pup and he has a ball throwing it up in the air and chasing it. Handy for something they can play with alone.

Your fur kid will thank you!
Color: Yellow Green, Size: 6 Inch
My dog absolutely LOVES this toy! I recently adopted a rescue & wasn’t sure what she might like, so I bought this in a 6” size for a 50# shep/lab/hound. The ball comes with a cute little pump with needle which only takes a few seconds to inflate. I put the ball outside for her; she wasn’t sure of it at first but it didn’t take her long to realize how fun it was to throw around & chase. She throws it up in the air by the loops & runs all over the yard with it & it’s so comical to watch! It seems pretty durable & well made - I’m shocked she hasn’t punctured it by now, but if she does I will definitely buy her another….and another. This is easily her favorite toy. I highly recommend it for your fur kid - you won’t be disappointed, & neither will they..

First ball was great!
Color: Black Green, Size: 8 Inch
This ball was great! My dog loves it. I ordered another smaller one. It had no pump and the inside was separated from the outside piece so it couldn’t be pumped up.

Fun and durable
Color: Flag, Size: 6 Inch, Color: Flag, Size: 6 Inch
I have a 5 month old teething Whippet puppy and this toy is a favorite. She loves carrying it around by the straps, playing tug, and trying to chew it. I think it’s pretty tough and durable for someone her size. I could see how a shepherd might destroy it quickly, though.
I was surprised to find you have to inflate it, but the pump and needles are included and it hasn’t lost any air over several days of rough play. (I kick it and toss it to her. We tug with the straps. She carries it everywhere.) The material feels like a heavy duty soccer ball, just smaller. It’s the perfect size for her.
I’d definitely buy it again.
