Yarn Kit – Zipper Teddy by Pickles

The Zipper Teddy is a sporty allrounder, whether you are embracing the weather for a Sunday hike or you've decided to lounge on the sofa all day. It is made in a delightful combination of Bouclé and super-soft merino, featuring fun details that will keep you on your toes while making this woolly hug of a sweater.

Skill level: Adventurous Beginner / Intermediate

The zipped collar is created first. Then you work the sweater top down. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, then the cuffs are made separately before attaching them to the sleeves with no sewing up at all!

Sizes 2XS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL):

Measurements given are for the finished garment with a chest circumference of 100 (110) 120 (126) 134 (140) 150 (160)cm / 40 (43) 47 (49.5) 52.5 (55) 59 (63)”, recommended positive ease for an oversized look is 25 – 35cm / 10 – 14”.

We've done the maths for you so according to your size, the Zipper Teddy Yarn Kit contains all the yarn you need to complete your very own sweater, and as with all our Pickles kits, the pattern is included for free! We’ll send the pattern to you via email as soon as your kit is in the post.

In addition you'll need circular needles size 3.5mm / US4, 7mm / US10.5 and 9mm / US13 in 80cm/32” length, and preferred needles in same sizes for smaller circumferences, stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, and a darning needle for weaving in your ends.
You'll also need a 25cm / 10” zipper to fit onto your collar.
