Sonically, this one does exactly what an SM7B should do: it tests fine and sounds right. Cosmetically, though, it’s been through it. This is a function-over-form piece of gear, priced accordingly.

Condition:
Used and rough cosmetically. The mic tests fine and sounds exactly like it should, but the body has tons of scratches and heavy cosmetic wear. The windscreen is worn, nappy, and soft and will likely need to be replaced. There are no functional issues — this is purely about appearance and consumable wear. If you want a clean-looking SM7B, this isn’t it. If you want a cheap, great-sounding SM7B, this is your mic.
